Do you accept commissions?

Yes, for a very limited number of clients. Mostly I paint friends and family for free and ask them to donate to a charity I recommend.

How do I get a portrait painted?

First consider if my style fits your aesthetic. I cannot force or copy a different style.

Next, I will need a photograph to work with. It would be helpful to hear about the subject’s life, interests, and preferences.

It takes about six to seven weeks to finish a 40 x 50 cm painting. It takes oil four weeks to dry. Varnish takes another week.

How much does it cost?

Please send me a message. I do not undervalue my work, but I would like to give more people a chance to experience having their portraits painted. We can then agree on a payment of 50% of the cost upon acceptance of the commission. The rest is payable upon delivery.
