This is my friend Apples in Manila. We were classmates from early childhood to high school. I am lucky to have a group of genuine friends from the 80s, all smart, kind, hilarious, optimistic, and unafraid of challenges.

Apples modeled for well known designers — strikingly confident even from a young age. Her beautiful children are now in their twenties. She is head of public relations for Unilever.
