This is my friend Tonette, whom I’ve known since high school. The title is meant to be funny, which is a throwback to a childhood we remember fondly. I still remember her as a teenager, which is probably why she looks so young here.

She has traveled world-wide in her work at the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs and is now working in Copenhagen.

I drew on the canvas but abandoned the draft as I started painting. This was done without any pencil guides. The painting was started on January 9 and completed on January 17 but I was not satisfied and kept at it until March 20, 2021.
