How someone from Pankshin, Plateau State in Nigeria could meet someone from the outskirts of Metro Manila and become friends in Copenhagen, is the subject of this painting of my friend, Joy. She helped me survive clinical work in neurology with a mixture of calm, humanism, and a constant desire to learn.
